Mesothelioma (What Exspect)?
My aunt was diagnosed with this about two months ago. The doctors told my family, is unusable. The symptoms she has now flluid buildup in his lungs to be removed approximately every four days. I wanted know if anyone knows what Exspect here. They Kimo treatment within a few days,but I wonder if it will do well. If someone can tell me how someone that lives on when it gets to that stage. Thank you very much,help will be greatly appreciated. I thought it's time to call hospice,or how long should we wait?
Rhonda,I'm sorry about your aunt. Unfortunately,we have no effective treatments for mesothelioma. Chemotherapy does not cure it,if what you mean by doing good. They are more likelihood that it will give her hope that it will respond well,and give him more time. Her oncologist will know when it's time to call hospice. It is largely dependent on their response to chemotherapy,his general health condition and how she needs help. It is impossible for anyone to know how long did it without more information. It is best to ask her oncologist,and even then be estimated. Keeping the mind doctors usually give patients and their families with information in small doses that telling them at once is too overwhelming. You and your aunt had keep a list of questions for the doctor at each event. Just write when you think about them. I hope hope this helps a little. Good luck to you both.
