Mesothelioma:I had a couple of Mesothelioma Cells found?
I had rare mesothelial cells in some fluid out of the area around my lungs. No malignant cells were observed. I'm afraid I have seen in X-rays of my lungs. I just I found some exposed to asbestos for many years for the replacement of the ceiling,just like me. Is anyone know if I'm heading for mesothelioma? Is what can I do to prevent it?
Exposure to asbestos increases the risk of mesothelioma (lung cancer,and –much more so if you smoke). If no malignant cells were found still no clear signs of mesothelioma,but the liquid level in pleural mesothelial cells should be considered a warning signal. Unfortunately,there is no preventive treatment.
